For their lifetimes they are our adoring companions. they ask nothing from us but a pat on the head, a dirty old sack to lay on and something to eat. In return they love us unconditionally, they shower us with love and affection and they are happy as long as they  can touch us or be touched by us. Yes, dogs are truly man's best friend.
